Tydeman makes waves in the Premier
OLLIE Tydeman has taken an early lead in the Under-21 Premier Series.
The 18-year-old from Chandler’s Ford SC beat club-mate Jordan Winbourne 4-2 in the final at Jesters SC, Swindon.
In the group stage of the first of the eight-tournament scratch series, Winbourne, the 2007 Under-12 champion, beat Tydeman 4-1.
Daniel Woods, 17, knocked in the day’s top break of 66.

Kishan wins the battle of the Welsh dragons
TWO Welsh dragons fought out the final of the Under-21 Open.
And it was Kishan Hirani, conceding a 14-point start to his Cardiff Rileys’ club-mate Munzir Sadiq, who triumphed 3-1.
Luke Haines, also from Cardiff, lost 3-2 to Sadiq in the semis and only Gary Wilkins (Trowbridge) stopped the Welsh from dominating the last four.

Under-15 debut victory for Hilborne
TROWBRIDGE youngster Thomas Hilborne was certainly not in awe of the opposition after stepping up to the Under-15s for the first time.
A 2-0 victory over Bradley Chappell (Green Baize SC, Bournemouth) in the final gave former Under-12 star Hilbourne a winning start in the older age group.

Home victory for Perry
JAMIE Perry took advantage of home territory to clinch the Under-12 final against Thyas Evans (Westbury).
Although a regular at the Jesters’ Saturday Section, Perry was competing in his first ever Cuestars tournament.
He beat club-mate Joshua Lee in the last eight and Mark Lloyd (Gosport) in the semis.
