Finals Day details
CUESTARS finals day is just a week away.
The traditional end-of-season finale will be held as usual at Jesters Snooker Club, Swindon, on Sunday, May 20.
Rookie professional Billy Castle will play all the trophy winners and present the silverware.
There is one change this year. All Cuestars members who have competed in at least one under-21 event are invited – not just the top-16 as in previous years.
Seedings will be in place. Each round-robin group will contain a top-ranked player. Then it’s like a normal under-21 event: group stages followed by a knockout.
Players not qualifying for the knockout can enter a Six Reds Shoot-Out Challenge.
The draw takes place at 10.30am. Billy will play exhibition frames from 1pm. The presentation will be around 5.30pm. Normal Cuestars under-21 dress code. Entry fee is £10.
