Second Plate win of season for Donovan
JOHN Donovan (Camden Town) claimed his second Plate winner’s trophy of the season in Swindon.
In an all-Silver Tour final, Donovan beat Chloe White (Havant) during the sixth and last legs of the Cuestars Under-21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Tours at Jesters Snooker Club.
For women’s world No 20 White, is was a first trophy of the campaign.
Donovan also won the Plate, for players not qualifying for the knockout in the main events, in Salisbury last month.
The event was sponsored by trophy supplier Don Rogers Sports (www.donrogerssports.co.uk), Swindon-based window cleaners Clean Cut (www.clean-cut.co.uk) and Jesters Snooker Club (www.jesterssnooker.co.uk).
The 2021/22 junior season kicks off at Salisbury Snooker Club on Sunday, November 14.
