Youngest Bronze champion claims Plate in Salisbury
ASTEN Sahota rounded off a brilliant debut on the Cuestars Under-21 Silver Tour by winning the Plate competition at Salisbury Snooker Club.
The youngest ever Bronze Tour champion beat George Laxton (Portsmouth) in the final.
Now aged ten, Sahota (Southampton) beat Jason Larcome (Basingstoke), took frames off Mason Wilson (Basingstoke) and John Donovan (London), and made breaks of 37 and 30 in the Silver group stages.
The event was sponsored by Salisbury Snooker Club and one if its members, Malcom Slark.
Woking Snooker Centre hosts the second legs of eight on Sunday, December 5.
