Cliff Thorburn helps the Cuestars Academy Facebook page pass 5,000 members

CLIFF Thorburn, the 1980 world champion, has helped the Cuestars Academy Facebook page pass a major milestone.

It now boasts a staggeringly high membership of more than 5,000!

Cliff signed up last week. And ‘Gentleman’ Joe Perry has agreed to a chat about the Cuestars Snooker Academy after the world championship. It seems he’s starting to do coaching and is interested in what we do.

Academy founder John Hunter will be making the Snooker IQ quiz available this weekend to celebrate this landmark achievement. The latest in the long line of popular Cuestars quizzes has 147 questions covering all aspects of our wonderful game.

The Academy app costs £5 a year. VIP members, who pay £10 a year, can now print PDFs of the Academy Levels and Practice Challenges so they can take them to the practice table.

It is important that Cuestars members, especially juniors, continue to provide their practice videos as it showcases the amazing talent we have in our area.
