Savage wins Plate and Borgars claims first trophy

LENNON Savage beat Sam Borgars in the Plate final during the third legs of the Cuestars Under-21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Tours at Chandlers Ford Snooker Club.

Silver Tour player Savage missed out on a place in the main knockout after losing a play-off with Dylan Denieffe but the 14-year-old from Southampton went on to claim success in the competition for non-qualifiers.

It was a first ever trophy for Borgars (pictured) and the nine-year-old from Colchester put together a new high break of 28 against Beibei Ji (Southampton) in the last-eight.

Salisbury Snooker Club hosts the fourth legs of ten on Sunday, December 1.
