Zain’s seesaw day

ZAIN Jeraj had an interesting day at Salisbury Snooker Club.

The Tooting talent beat Lennon Savage (Southampton) in the Plate final during the fourth legs of the Cuestars Under-21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Tours.

Earlier, he overcame Oliver Sykes – who leads the English Junior Tour, the national under-21 circuit – 2-1 in his Gold round-robin group.

Because they were the only frames he won in four matches, Jeraj entered the competition for non-qualifiers.

Jesters Snooker Club, Swindon, hosts the fifth legs of ten on Sunday, January 5.
