Second successive Plate win for Zain

TWO Londoners competed in the Plate final during the fifth legs of the Cuestars Under-21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Tours at a rain-swept Jesters Snooker Club, Swindon.

Zain Jeraj collected his second successive winner’s trophy in the competition for those players not qualifying for the knockouts in the main events.

The England international from Tooting defeated Yousuf Matib (Leytonstone) in the final.

Jeraj had finished in third place in his six-man Gold group while Matib finished fourth in his Silver group.

Frames Sports Bar, Coulsdon, hosts the sixth legs of ten on Sunday, January 26.
