Cuestars has a world champion

A CUESTARS member has today been crowned a junior world champion.

Jasmine Bolsover defeated Yana Shut, from Belarus, in a thrilling final of the women’s world under-21 championship at the Northern Snooker Centre, Leeds.

The 15-year-old from Woking won 3-2 on a re-spotted black from 2-0 down.

Bolsover, who is currently fourth on the Cuestars South of England Under-21 Silver Tour, is competing in the world championships run by the World Ladies Billiards & Snooker Association.
