Q School round-up
BEN Harrison, winner of the 2014 English Amateur Championship (pictured), and Billy Castle, the 2015 English Amateur Championship runner-up, were both knocked out of Q School by former professionals just three wins short of gaining two-year Main Tour cards.
The past and present Cuestars members, who were guests of honour at the 2013 and 2014 finals days, paid £600 each to compete in the two World Snooker tournaments at the Meadowside Leisure Centre, Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.
Semi-finalists in both events join the pro-circuit.
Harrison lost in the fourth round of the first tournament to Alex Davies, a former professional from Essex.
Castle lost in the fourth round of the second tournament to Jordan Brown, a former professional from Northern Ireland.
