62 break for 11-year-old

ELEVEN-year-old Mickey Joyce (pictured centre) compiled a 62 break in this morning’s Eastleigh & District Under-18 League.

The Falcon Pools-sponsored spikey-haired potter from Basingstoke registered his new personal best in the second frame of a 2-1 defeat by Premier leader Luke Beebe on Table 2 at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club.

Joyce – the 2014 Cuestars Silver Tour rankings winner, who celebrated his birthday just two months ago – had earlier knocked in a 39 in the Under-13 League. His previous highest was 56.

And two other youngsters, working towards making their Cuestars debuts in October, recorded their first 20s. Charlie Pringle, 12, (left) made his in the Under-13s and ten-year-old Oli Line (right) followed suit in the Under-18s.
