Evan joins the ton-up club
ONE of the ever-improving new generation of young Coulsdon snooker players has compiled his first century break.
Evan Plummer cleared the table for a personal best 109 in a practice match against doubles partner Harry Jones at Frames Sports Bar.
The 13-year-old was delighted that the ton was watched by Frames owner Tony Thompson, who has invested a lot of time recently in the budding star.
It came just before Plummer and Jones beat Geoff Kidd and Mark Boome 2-1 in the Winchester Trophy run by the Reigate & District Snooker League. The pair now face Andrew Tait and Chris Jacobs in the quarter-finals.
Last month, Plummer picked up his first winner’s trophy on the Cuestars South of England Under-21 Silver Tour in Havant.
