IT WAS an £850 payday for the top-eight ranked players in the 26-week Open Series 15 at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club.
Luke Beebe, the Cuestars South of England Under-21 Bronze Tour leader, pocketed the top prize of £250.
Silver Tour player Dan Sykes, who missed a couple of weeks due to his commitment to the EASB Regional Junior Tour, collected £150 for finishing third.
Meanwhile, fourth-place Austen Petty celebrated becoming £100 richer by compiling a personal best 64 break to wrap up a 3-1 victory over Beebe in the week-two final of the new series.
The 15-year-old from Boyatt Wood now leads the rankings from week-one winner Pete Jordan, who posted his highest break of 26 against Luke’s dad, Mark.
Handicapped tournaments open to all ages start at 1pm every Saturday.
