Callum, 13, sees positives after second defeat
BISHOPDOWN teenager Callum McDonald insists competing in the Cuestars South Wilts Snooker League “will improve my game” despite suffering a second 5-0 defeat.
The determined 13-year-old, beaten by Richard Arnold in the season opener, lost to Gary Hart (Porton) in the week-two action at Salisbury Snooker Club.
Hart posted breaks of 36, 25 and 26 and his young opponent replied with a 22.
“I enjoy playing people who are much better than me,” said McDonald. “I can learn a lot from it. I’m sure that playing in this league will improve my game.”
