Egg-cellent break claims Easter Cup
NINE-year-old Jamie Wilson posted a personal best 38 break in the deciding frame of the Easter Cup final at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club.
The pint-sized potter from Portsmouth edged Charlie Gary 2-1 to claim the trophy. Earlier, Wilson had beaten Cuestars Bronze Tour rivals Luke Beebe, Karan Chadda and Mickey Joyce. Beebe, 11, went on to clinch the Plate trophy.
A 17-strong field entered the best-of-three scratch tournament.
