First tournament win for Connor Shaw
PINT-sized potter Connor Shaw warmed up for tomorrow’s trip to Swindon by claiming his first tournament win in his first ever final this morning.
Connor won the monthly knockout at the Cuestars Section at Greenbaize Snooker Club, Bournemouth.
The Bronze Tour player beat his brother Owen in the first round, David O’Callaghan and then Brad Chappell in the final.
Can he take his form into the second leg of the Cuestars South of England Under-21 Bronze Tour at Jesters Snooker Club?
Connor, whose high break is 27, made his Bronze Tour debut in January last year but has never qualified for the knockout in 14 attempts.
