New names on Chandlers Ford roll of honour
TWO new names have been added to the junior leagues’ honours board at Chandlers Ford Snooker Club.
Ryan Spratt (pictured, right) took another significant step on his remarkable snooker journey by being crowned Under-19 Premier champion
The 14-year-old from Botley, who earned promotion to next season’s Cuestars Under-21 Gold Tour by making a 94 break in April, couldn’t make a bridge hand 21 months ago.
And Silver Tour player Caden Read (left), competing in his final Under-13 League season, bade farewell by claiming the Premier title in the younger age group
The 13-year-old from Chandlers Ford also finished runner-up in the Under-19s.
After lunch, both players collected £202.50 in prize money for ending Open Series 32 in joint fourth place.
New junior leagues kick off next Saturday: U13s 9-11am, U19s 11am-1pm.
The Rotary Summer Cup with WPBSA coach Tim Dunkley starts on July 24 and runs from 11am-3pm on every weekday during the school holiday.
That means the club has 37 days of junior competitions over the summer holiday.
