Duo through to national last-16
TWO Cuestars players have made it through to the last-16 of the English Under-14 Championship.
Jamie Wilson (pictured left), who is remarkably only eight, and Olly Clark, 13, booked trips to Leeds next May via the southern qualifier at Frames Sports Bar, Coulsdon, London.
Clark, from Gosport, lost only one frame to top the round-robin group.
“I’ve got eight months now to get my game to the next level for Leeds,” he said. “I’m sure playing in all these tournaments will help me get there.”
Meanwhile, Wilson, from Havant, comfortably won his final match to secure a place in the national knockout.
Clark made his Silver Tour debut in Salisbury today while Wilson competed on the Bronze Tour.
