Ford slips to third on Masters Tour

LEG-one winner Matt Ford (pictured) slipped one place to third on the English Masters Tour South after a group-stage exit in the fourth leg at Frames Sports Bar, Coulsdon.

The Cuestars Championship Tour and Seniors Tour star from Bracknell beat Nick Miles (Fawley) 3-0 but lost 2-1 to Aidan Owens (Lowestoft) and Ashley Beal (Maresfield, East Sussex).

Peter Chin (Newbury) also missed out on the knockout.

Simon Dent (Shoreham-by-Sea) won the final which ended at half past midnight

The fifth leg of six is at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club on Sunday, February 28, 2016.
