Knox leads Regional Junior Tour
DAN Knox leads the EASB Regional Junior Tour at the halfway point of the season.
The Ascot teenager (pictured), who won last month’s Cuestars Gold Tour event in Woking, has now gone out in the semi-finals of all three legs.
As previously reported, the 18-year-old lost 2-0 to first-time finalist Jonny Mutch in the third leg. Mutch is now ranked fifth.
Title rivals James Budd (Fareham) and Ronnie Blake (London) did not make the trip to the Belgrave Snooker Club, Plymouth.
Sam Storey (Newbury) won his round-robin group and made the last-four on his first outing this season, losing 2-0 to the eventual tournament winner Aaron Lowe (Bristol).
