Bubb takes Six-Reds title

SIMON Bubb claimed the Six-Reds Championship title during the Cuestars Under-21 finals day at Jesters Snooker Club, Swindon.

The Gold Tour player from Ealing Common defeated Brighton youngster Oliver Li 2-1 in the final.

Cuestars ambassador Joe Perry presented the trophies at the end of the season finale which was sponsored by Jesters SC.

At the presentation, the world number 28 said he had seen a “massive improvement” in the players’ standard.

Earlier, the hard-working professional played 18 different Cuestars players. He chalked up three centuries – 134, 133 and 100 – and was beaten by O’Shay Scott, Harry Wyatt, John Donovan and Bradley Cowdroy.
