Daniel Walter wins second successive Plate
DANIEL Walter started the new campaign as he ended the last – by winning the Plate competition.
Walter picked up one victory out of three on his Cuestars Under-21 Silver Tour debut at Salisbury Snooker Club.
The Portsmouth-based teenager (pictured, left) didn’t qualify for the knockout but went on to beat Londoner Lee Clayden (right) in the Plate final.
Last season, Walter finished joint runner-up on the Bronze Tour and won the Plate in the final leg at Waterlooville Sports Bar.
Frames Sports Bar, Coulsdon, hosts the second legs of ten on Sunday, October 2.
