Davies and Storey star in Salisbury
CARDIFF-based professional Paul Davies was the guest star at the Cuestars Snooker Day at Salisbury Snooker Club.
The world No 54 compiled six breaks of more than 40 as he took on 22 lucky Cuestars youngsters.
Sam Storey, from Thatcham Snooker Club, potted his way through a 21-strong field to win the handicap tournament which ran alongside Davies’ exhibition matches.
Storey, who defeated club-mate Ben Gould 2-0 in the final, finished runner-up in round-robin group A after defeat by Lee Bell (The Academy, Eastleigh).
He accounted for Bradley Hatch (The Academy, Eastleigh) and Joseph Richardson (The Academy, Basingstoke) to reach the final.
