Dylan Beer claims first Plate title
DYLAN Beer (pictured, left) has collected his first Plate winner’s trophy on the Cuestars junior circuit.
The 12-year-old from Fair Oak beat Yousuf Matib (right) in the final of the competition for non-qualifiers during the sixth legs of the Under-21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Tours at Frames Sports Bar, Coulsdon.
Beer made his Cuestars debut in July, 2021, and earned promotion to Silver at the end of last season.
Matib (Leytonstone) is one of WPBSA coach John Woods’ players from the Hurricane Room in Kings Cross. It was his first Cuestars trophy since making his debut last November.
