Knight chasing a hat-trick of Plates

WEST Sussex teenager Brett Knight is chasing a rare hat-trick on the Cuestars Under-21 circuit.

The 15-year-old from Shoreham-by-Sea has now won the Plate competition in the last two events he has entered.

Knight quipped that he will be going for the hat-trick in Bournemouth!

Following his success in Woking in the competition for those players not qualifying for the knockouts in the main events, he beat Zain Jeraj (Tooting) in the final during the ninth legs at Chandlers Ford Snooker Club.

The Pitman Training sponsored event attracted a 46-strong field. Organisers thanked the fantastic staff at Chandlers Ford SC for looking after them all day.

Greenbaize Snooker Club, Bournemouth, hosts the tenth and final leg on Sunday, April 28.
