Plummer seals Plate victory in style
GOLD Tour player Evan Plummer knocked in a 47 break in his Plate final victory over Christopher Woodward.
Plummer, from Coulsdon but now part of the University of Southampton team, had finished third in his group in the main competition despite a fine victory over former champion Bradley Cowdroy (Bournemouth).
Woodward (Chandler’s Ford) had missed out on qualifying for the Bronze knockout on a three-way play-off.
The event was sponsored by Chris Gaynor, who runs snookerzone.co.uk, and his brother-in-law Alex Hoff, boss of helicopter training outfit Hoff Aviation.
Please note date change! Frames Sports Bar, Coulsdon, hosts the third leg of eight on Sunday, January 30.
