Professional announced for Under-21 finals day

CUESTARS is delighted to announce the name of the guest professional for finals day.

Joe Perry has agreed to present the trophies and play exhibition frames against our top-ranked players during the Under-21 Gold, Silver & Bronze Championships at Jesters Snooker Club, Swindon, on Sunday, May 21.

Joe was appointed the first Cuestars ambassador after impressing players, parents and organisers at finals day last year.

Living up to his nickname of ‘The Gentleman’, he invited Bradley Cowdroy, Connor Benzey and Oliver Sykes to his house in Cambridgeshire for a two-day masterclass in July. And followed that with a one-day session in August with Harry Wyatt, Asten Sahota, O’Shay Scott, William Thomson and Zain Jeraj.

The world No 31 said he is looking forward to seeing how all the Cuestars juniors are progressing.

The Gold, Silver & Bronze Championships are one-off events using the same format of round-robin followed by a knockout. They are not rankings events. The final ranking event of the season is at Chandlers Ford Snooker Club on Sunday (April 30).
