Sykes reigns supreme at Salisbury Snooker Day
CLASSY left-hander Dan Sykes accounted for his travelling companion and Chandler’s Ford clubmate Luke Beebe in the final of the Cuestars Snooker Day tournament in Wiltshire.
The 13-year-old’s victory on the colours avenged his group-stage defeat by Beebe, 11.
Callum McDonald, Kaine Petty and Allistair Pollard were unable to take advantage of their home tables at Salisbury Snooker Club.
Cuestars director John Hunter, who put the five Bronze Tour potters through their paces with exercises from the Cuestars Coaching Scheme, said: “I really enjoyed spending my day helping these players.”
