Wyatt wins Plate with unusual shot
HARRY Wyatt produced a shot you don’t often see to win the Plate final at Salisbury Snooker Club.
The 13-year-old from Ferndown beat his fellow England international Caden Read (Chandler’s Ford) with a deadweight doubled black into a middle pocket, which may not have been as intended.
Both players entered the consolation competition after missing out on qualifying for the knockouts in the first legs of the Cuestars Under-21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Tours.
Harry (Gold) and Caden (Silver) were making their debuts on their respective tours after earning promotion at the end of last season.
Frames Sports Bar, Coulsdon, hosts the second leg of ten on Sunday, October 1.
